How To: Add a Listing

Adding your first listing:

  1. Go to the Add Listing page
    • If you do not have a user account, you will be presented with a small registration form.
    • Enter your name and a valid email address, check the “I’m not a robot” box, then click “Register Now”
  2. Choose a package
  3. If the selected package supports franchising, a “Manage Franchise” section will appear.
    • If you own multiple rental properties, checking the “Enable Franchise” box will help when it comes time to register those properties as well.
  4. Complete all required fields on the form (watch for the * next to the field names)
  5. Check the “I’m not a robot” box if it appears, then wait for a green check mark to appear.
  6. Review and accept the Terms of Service
  7. Click “Review Your Listing”
  8. If you’re satisfied with your listing, click “Confirm Preview & Go to Checkout”. Otherwise, click “Go Back and Edit” to make changes.
  9. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the checkout process.

Enable the Franchising Feature

  1. Go to your main listing page.
  2. Click “Edit this Post”
  3. If your current subscription package supports franchising, you will see a checkbox labeled “Enable Franchise” button.
  4. Check the “Enable Franchise” box
  5. In the “Lock franchise fields” box, you may choose any of the fields that will be the same across all of your properties.
    • This will “lock” all the other listings to have the same value for these fields as your main listing.
    • If you use the same phone number or email address for all of your properties, those could be good choices.
  6. Save your changes (Scroll to the bottom of the form, accept the terms and conditions, then click “Review Your Listing”, then click “Update Now”)

Adding an additional property:

  1. Ensure that franchising is enabled on your main listing
  2. Go to your main listing page.
  3. Click “Add Franchise”
  4. Fill out the form with the details of the additional property.
    • Any fields you locked when enabling the franchise feature on your main listing
      will not be available for editing, but will show the same content as your main listing.
  5. Save your changes (Scroll to the bottom of the form, accept the terms and conditions, then click “Save”)
  6. If you have additional properties to add, you may:
    • click “Add New Franchise” in the message that appears after you click save
    • or, return to the top of the page and select “Add New Franchise” from the “Select Franchise” drop-down menu.
  7. When all additional listings are complete (and saved), check the “Pay for Franchises” button at the bottom of the page.
  8. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the checkout process.
